The historic Gerricusplatz (Gerricus square) is in the district Gerresheim,
where Düsseldorf already gets hilly.
The old and high trees in front of the basilica St. Margareta produce shade,
the fountain in the middle of the square tells Gerresheim's history.
Nearby you can find the "Alte Marktplatz" (old marketplace), which remembers of french squares
having sycamores around it and a cenotaph in the center.
